Wingate track and field teams begin national championship quest Thursday night

Emporia, Kansas----The Wingate University track and field teams will begin the NCAA Division II outdoor national championship meet Thursday night, May 21 with the men's 1500 meters preliminaries at 6:10 p.m. EDT. The year's event is hosted by Emporia State University on the Zola Witten Track inside the Francis G. Welch Stadium. Wingate's program-best 21 qualifiers will compete in 24 total individual events.
