Sophomore outside hitter Cory McGowan (Pittsburgh, Pa.) piled up a tournament-best 47 kills, earning All-NCAA Southeast Region tournament honors. McGowan helped lead the Bulldogs to their third consecutive NCAA regional title match this past weekend in Cuddy Arena. She also notched two double-doubles, notching 38 digs in the tournament.

McGowan started her tournament with 15 kills, nine digs and three blocks in the win over Lees-McRae. She followed with 15 kills and 14 digs against Catawba, hitting .433 on the night to lead Wingate to a sweep. McGowan had a team-best 17 kills to go along with 15 digs in the regional title match.
