Wingate senior forward Kayla Harris (Raleigh, N.C.) averaged 22.5 points per game while shooting 69.2 percent from the floor as the Bulldogs won two South Atlantic Conference contests last week. On Saturday, she had 22 points and 10 rebounds (for her ninth double-double of the season) as Wingate defeated Mars Hill 80-66 in Cuddy Arena and Thomas Koontz Family Court. She hit nine-of-12 field goals against the MHU Lions. 

On Wednesday, Harris had 23 points and six rebounds in a 68-63 SAC home victory over Coker. She converted nine-of-14 field goal attempts against the Cobras. On the season, Harris leads the Bulldogs with 16.6 points per game and 9.1 rebounds per game. She also tops the team charts (among players with more than 12 minutes played per game) with her 51.6 individual field goal percentage. In the classroom, Harris recorded a 3.667 GPA during the 2013 fall semester.
