Wingate University Athletics

Wingate University junior Nepolian Patel (Rocky Mount, N.C.) finished third in the 2015 SAC championships Saturday morning. Patel earned first team All-SAC honors for his efforts. 

Patel posted a time of 25:23.6 in the 8K race to finish third, helping the Bulldogs notch a fifth-place finish. 

Next up for Patel and the Bulldogs is the 2015 NCAA Southeast Regionals, which will take place at Wingate on Saturday, Nov. 7.
