Hilton Head, S.C.----The Wingate University men’s and women’s tennis teams did not lose a set Monday, blanking the Warriors of East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania by identical 9-0 scores. The Bulldog men (5-3 overall) lost only three games in the top three singles flights, while the number 39 Wingate women (8-1 overall) recorded 6-0, 6-0 decisions at the five and six singles positions.
Both Wingate teams return to the court Tuesday, facing Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania at 8 a.m. The Bulldogs will conclude their Spring Break swing with a Wednesday twin bill against Kutztown University of Pennsylvania (3 p.m. first serve).
