Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University softball doubleheader versus Carson-Newman College has been moved from Saturday to Sunday, Wingate head coach
Michelle Caddigan announces. The South Atlantic Conference twin bill will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday.
The Bulldogs are 29-12 overall and 10-6 in the SAC. The Eagles are 35-12-1 overall and 13-3 in SAC play. The doubleheader concludes the regular season for the Bulldogs. Carson-Newman will host the 2011 Food Lion SAC tournament in Jefferson City next week. Play begins on Wednesday morning at the Eagle Softball Complex.
