Jefferson City, Tenn.----The schedule for this weekend’s three-game series between Wingate University and Carson-Newman College has been altered due to the threat of inclement weather. The new schedule has the two teams scheduled to play a doubleheader Saturday starting at 12 p.m. The teams will meet for game three of the series Sunday at 1 p.m.
 
The two teams were originally scheduled to play game one of the series Friday at 2 p.m., while completing the series with Saturday’s doubleheader at 12 p.m. There is a possibility of more changes to the schedule, depending on the weather. The Bulldogs enter the weekend series on a five-game winning streak, and are 19-14 overall and 7-8 in the SAC. The Eagles are 17-14 overall and 9-6 in the conference.
