Wingate, N.C.----Saturday’s South Atlantic Conference baseball doubleheader between Wingate University and Anderson University, originally slated for 1 p.m., has been moved back due to inclement weather. First pitch of game one is now slated for 2:30 p.m. at Ron Christopher Stadium and Plyler Athletic Field. Saturday’s Senior Day ceremony will take place at 2:10 p.m.
 
The Bulldogs enter Saturday’s contest 23-15 overall and 11-8 in the SAC. Wingate has won eight consecutive league games, and 11 of its last 13 after starting 0-6 in SAC play. The Bulldogs will honor seven seniors playing their final home games at Wingate University. This year’s senior class has led Wingate to 109 wins in their four years, leading the Bulldogs to a regular season SAC title in 2010 and a SAC Tournament championship in 2011.
