Olen Little (Charlotte, N.C) tossed seven shutout innings in a 9-2 victory over Lincoln Memorial University in South Atlantic Conference baseball action. Wingate wins its third consecutive SAC series, improving to 14-11 overall and 8-4 in the conference. LMU falls to 8-13 overall and 6-6 in the SAC.

Brian Yeung (Raleigh, N.C.) went three-for-five with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored, while sophomore first baseman
Brad Cherry (Mt. Pleasant, S.C.) was two-for-four with a double, RBI and run scored.
The Bulldogs got on the board in the third, plating three runs. Prince led off the inning with his second homer of the season, a solo shot to left center to make it 1-0. Serra followed with a solo homer two batters later, his fourth of the season. Yeung added an RBI double to give the ‘Dogs a three-run lead.
The Bulldogs added three more in the sixth. Clark ripped a two-out double, then scored on Cherry’s RBI double. Prince added an RBI double, while an RBI single from sophomore shortstop
Michael Godinez (Cutler Bay, Fla.) made it 6-0.
Yeung lined a one-out double down the right field line in the seventh, giving the 2011 All-American 71 career doubles. He is one double shy of tying 2012 Wingate All-American
Casey Allison as the all-time SAC leader in career doubles. Yeung would score on an RBI double from senior designated hitter
Grant McCoury (Canton, Ohio). A two-run homer from Clark gave the Bulldogs a 9-0 advantage. Clark has a team-best five homers this season.
LMU got on the board in the eighth, plating a pair of runs.
Jacob West drove in the first run with an RBI double, while a sacrifice fly from
Scott Miller made the final margin 9-2.
Little got the win, improving to 5-1 on the year. The preseason All-SAC selection tossed seven scoreless innings, allowing five hits while striking out five without walking a batter. In 39 innings of work this season, Little has an ERA of 0.92, allowing just four earned runs on the year.
Patrick Morris took the loss, falling to 3-1. He allowed six runs on 10 hits in 5 2/3 innings of work.
Wingate returns to action Tuesday, hosting Catawba in a non-conference contest at 6 p.m.
