Harrogate, Tenn.---- The start of this weekend’s South Atlantic Conference baseball series between Wingate and Lincoln Memorial has been pushed back a day due to wet field conditions at Lamar Hennon Field.
The Bulldogs and Railsplitters will begin the three-game series with a doubleheader Saturday, with game one slated for a 1 p.m. start. The third game of the series will be Sunday at 1 p.m. Wingate is 12-10 overall and 6-3 in the SAC, winning five of its last six league games. The Bulldogs split a doubleheader at top-ranked Mount Olive on Tuesday. LMU is 7-11 overall and 5-4 in the SAC.
Wingate has also added a game to its schedule later this month. The Bulldogs will travel to Gardner-Webb on Wednesday, March 20 for a 6 p.m. start.
