Freshman infielder Emily Usiak (Matthews, N.C.) drew a one-out walk in the second, while Saliga would reach on a fielder’s choice. Saliga would score on a double from senior outfielder Kasey Pendley (Marion, N.C.) to push the Wingate lead to two.
