Columbus, Ga.----The number six Columbus State women’s tennis team (21-3 overall) defeated number 49 Wingate 5-0 in the first round of the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional #2 Sunday morning at the Mary V. Blackmon Tennis Center. Wingate concludes its 2013 SAC championship season 19-6 overall. CSU will play the winner of the Francis Marion-Erskine Sunday afternoon semi-final in Monday’s regional title tilt.
