Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University softball doubleheader against Erskine College, originally scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, has been moved to Thursday due to the threat of inclement weather. The Bulldogs and Flying Fleet will meet for a doubleheader Thursday at 1 p.m. at the WU Softball Complex.

Wingate enters Thursday's doubleheader 2-0 on the season after sweeping Saturday's doubleheader against GRU Augusta. The Bulldogs won game one 8-0 in five innings, while prevailing 6-5 in game two. Thursday will be the season opener for Erskine. After Thursday's doubleheader, Wingate will travel to Columbus, Ga. for four games this weekend. The Bulldogs will face Pfeiffer and Columbus State Saturday, then take on King and Belmont Abbey on Sunday.
