Wingate softball doubleheader against Lenoir-Rhyne moved to Thursday

Wingate, N.C.----The South Atlantic Conference softball doubleheader between Wingate University and Lenoir-Rhyne, originally scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, has been moved to Thursday due to the threat of weather. The two teams will meet for a doubleheader at Wingate Thursday, March 27, with game one starting at 2 p.m.

The Bulldogs have won 10 of their last 11 games, entering the week 23-11 overall and 5-1 in the SAC. The Bulldogs and Bears are tied for second in the conference standings. Lenoir-Rhyne enters the week at 23-6 overall and 5-1 in the league, ranked 21st in the NFCA top 25.
