Wingate, N.C.----Wingate University sophomore right-hander Stacey Houser (Mooresville, N.C.) tossed a three-hit shutout in game one Sunday afternoon, leading the Bulldogs to a 1-0 victory over visiting Anderson University in South Atlantic Conference softball action. The Trojans won the second game 5-2 in eight innings to salvage a doubleheader split. Wingate moves to 26-12 overall, remaining in first place in the SAC standings at 8-2 in league play. Anderson moves to 25-9 overall and 5-5 in the conference.
