Box ScoreGreeneville, Tenn.----The 38th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs won their 24th consecutive conference match Tuesday afternoon, prevailing 7-2 at Tusculum College in South Atlantic Conference women's tennis action. Wingate moves to 17-4 overall and 10-0 in the SAC, while the Pioneers fall to 17-2 overall and 8-1 in the conference. Tusculum had won 15 consecutive matches. The victory clinches at least a share of the regular season SAC title for the Bulldogs. Wingate can win an outright title with a win Friday.

Sierra Parsons (Toronto, Ontario) won 9-7 at number two doubles, while a 9-7 win from freshman
Layla Tanik (Raleigh, N.C.) and sophomore
Caroline Holland (Spartanburg, S.C.) at number three doubles put the 'Dogs on top 2-1 heading to singles play.
Senior
Ali Evers (Roswell, Ga.) won 6-3, 6-2 at number one singles, while Holland's 7-5, 6-3 win at number two singles made it 4-1. Junior
Becca Thomas (Alpharetta, Ga.) won 6-3, 6-4 at number three singles for the Bulldogs. Williams won 6-3, 6-1 at number five singles, while a 6-4, 6-3 win from Parsons at number six singles made the final margin 7-2.
The Bulldogs are back in action Friday, hosting Lenoir-Rhyne at 2 p.m.
