Wingate, N.C.----The NCAA Division II softball doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at Wingate between the Bulldogs and the King University Tornado has been postponed due to weather. A winter storm with snow and ice hit the Wingate area Tuesday morning. A makeup date has not yet been set. The 25th-ranked Bulldogs are 8-2 overall.

Up next for Wingate is a doubleheader at Limestone College Sunday at 1 p.m. The next home game for the Bulldogs is next Tuesday against UNC Pembroke at 1 p.m. For more schedule updates, go to wingatebulldogs.com and follow Wingate Athletics on Twitter.
