Wingate, N.C.----This weekend's South Atlantic Conference baseball series at Mars Hill has been altered due to the threat of inclement weather. What was originally scheduled as a three-game series on Friday and Saturday has been moved to a three-game series on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday's doubleheader will begin at 12 p.m. The third game of the series will take place Sunday at 1 p.m. All three games will be at Henderson Field on the campus of Mars Hill University.

In addition, a make-up date has been announced for Wingate's game at UNC Pembroke that was scheduled to take place Tuesday, Feb. 23. That contest has been re-scheduled for Tuesday, March 8 at 3 p.m. at UNC Pembroke.

The Bulldogs are 8-5 on the season, coming off a three-game sweep against Concord. The defending SAC Tournament champion Bulldogs will be opening conference play at Mars Hill Saturday. Keep up with all potential schedule changes at wingatebulldogs.com and follow @WU_Bulldogs on Twitter.
