Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs piled up 46 kills against just five errors Friday night, hitting .466 en route to a 3-0 victory over visiting UVA-Wise in South Atlantic Conference volleyball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate won by scores of 25-15, 25-6 and 25-8 to improve to 25-1 overall and 18-1 in the SAC. The Cavs fall to 1-23 overall 0-19 in league play.

- The Bulldogs jumped out to a 16-2 lead
- Kills from Young, Schaff and Mather made it 5-2, sending Kasprak to the service line
- She had four aces in the spurt, with Mather adding two kills and a block
- Kills from Abernathy, Knaley and Young made it 24-6; Knaley's ace ended the frame

THIRD SET

- Three kills from Ahrens put the 'Dogs on top 5-0
- Two kills and a block from Knaley put the Bulldogs on top 12-2

- Wingate added a 6-0 run, getting a kill and a block from Ahrens to take a 23-6 lead
