SAC Basketball Attendance Policies
Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University athletic department has announced its policy for the upcoming 2020-21 men's and women's basketball seasons. The season begins this weekend on the road, with the Bulldog men scheduled to host Carson-Newman Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 4 p.m.
There will be only 25 fans allowed at each contest as we begin the season. Those fans can only come from Wingate player pass lists. There will be no outside fans or visiting team's fans allowed at Wingate home games.
Those on the guest pass are only admitted to the one game, either men's or women's. The arena will be cleared out for cleaning between games of every doubleheader. Each guest will also go through a screening process upon entrance to the arena, which will include temperature checks and a questionnaire.
Those in attendance will observe physical distancing during the game. Only every other row in the stands will be available for spectators, with only the bleachers opposite the team benches being available on game day. In addition, all those in attendance are required to wear face coverings throughout their entire time.
Wingate University will provide
