Box Score Sumter, S.C.----The top-seeded Wingate University Bulldogs are onto the SAC Tournament semifinals after a 4-0 victory over eighth-seeded Lincoln Memorial University in Thursday morning's South Atlantic Conference women's tennis tournament quarterfinals. The regular season SAC champion Bulldogs improve to 14-1 overall, advancing to Friday's semifinals. The Railsplitters end their season at 6-7. Wingate is the defending SAC Tournament champion and has won five of the last 10 tourney titles to go along with nine regular season championships in that span.

Georgina Wood for a 6-3 win at two doubles

Flaminia Guidantoni prevailed 6-4 at number three doubles

SINGLES
- Bompieri rolled to a 6-1, 6-0 victory at one singles
- Ciaccia cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 win at two singles
- Guidantoni wrapped things up with a 6-2, 6-2 win at three singles
- Wood was up a set at four singles when the match was clinched
