Sumter, S.C.----The Anderson University Trojans won four of the five tie-breakers Friday afternoon, knocking off top-seeded Wingate University 4-3 in the semifinals of the 2021 men's tennis SAC Tournament. The Trojans advance to the title match, improving to 12-3 overall, while the Bulldogs fall to 12-2 on the season.

DOUBLES

- Enrico Giacomini and Edis Nokic won 6-1 at two doubles
- Roy Stepanov and Matteo Gostoli dropped a 7-6 match at one doubles, falling 13-11 in the tiebreaker
- The Trojans also won at three doubles to take a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- Giacomini prevailed 6-4, 6-1 at one singles
- Josep Canyadell rolled to a 6-1, 6-2 victory at three singles
- Nokic picked up a 6-4, 6-1 win at five singles
- Stepanov dropped the first set at four singles 7-6, with an 8-6 tiebreaker, then won the second 6-4
- He dropped the final frame 7-6 with another 8-6 tiebreaker
- Christian Della Cioppa lost the first set with an 8-6 tiebreaker, then won the second-set tiebreaker 7-4
- He dropped the final set 6-3 at six singles
- Anderson also picked up a 7-5, 6-2 victory at two singles
