Box Score Sumter, S.C.----The top-seeded and 15th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs are onto the SAC title match after defeating fourth-seeded Carson-Newman University 4-1 in the semifinals of the 2021 South Atlantic Conference women's tennis tournament Friday morning. The defending SAC Tournament champion Bulldogs improve to 15-1 overall, advancing to Saturday's SAC title match. The Eagles fall to 13-7.

- Wood cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 victory at four singles

- Ciaccia was heading to a third set at two singles, bouncing back for a 6-1 set two win after losing set one 6-3
- Guidantoni was also heading to set three after dropping set one 6-2 and winning the second 6-4
