Box Score Wingate, N.C.----The 13th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs overcame losing the doubles point Saturday afternoon, going 6-0 in singles play en route to a 6-1 victory over Mount Olive in NCAA Division II women's tennis action. Wingate improves to 2-0 overall, while the Trojans fall to 3-2 on the year.

DOUBLES

- Flaminia Guidantoni teamed with Saga Berggren for a 6-1 win at three doubles for Wingate
- Mount Olive won 6-2 at one and two doubles to earn the doubles point
- The Trojans took a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- Camilla Ciaccia won 6-4, 6-3 at one singles
- Elena Gunfaus rolled to a 6-2, 6-2 victory at two singles
- Chloe Kosmrlj prevailed 6-0, 6-4 at number three singles
- Guidantoni's second win of the day was a 6-1, 6-4 victory at four singles
- Alex Lopez picked up a 7-5, 6-3 win at five singles
- Suzuka Sambyakugari rallied for a 3-6, 7-5, 1-0 win at six singles
