Indianapolis, Ind.----Twenty-three Wingate University swimming student-athletes will compete in the 2023 NCAA Division II swimming and diving championships in Indianapolis March 7-11. The 2023 event will be held at the Indiana University Natatorium at IUPUI. The University of Indianapolis and the Indiana Sports Corp are serving as hosts.
 
Twelve Bulldog men and 11 WU men will compete in the 2023 event. Four of the six South Atlantic Conference schools who sponsor swimming will be represented by at least one swimmer in Indianapolis.

- Graduate student Kate Agger is making her fifth trip to the NCAAs
- Agger is seeded in the top eight in her three distance freestyle events
- She is No. 3 in 1000 (9:57.20), No. 4 in the 1650 (16:49.61) and No. 8 in the 500 (4:53.78)
- Agger is the defending individual national champion in the 500 Freestyle (4:48.02)
- Senior Lily Sanocki is making her fourth journey to the national championship meet
- She is the No. 5 seed in the 200 Breaststroke (2:14.96)
- Junior Amanda Wenhold is the No. 4 seed in the 100 Breaststroke (1:02.28)
- Sophomore Marta Beesmans Barquero is the No. 6 seed in the 200 Backstroke (1:58.02)
- Wingate is eligible to compete in five-of-five relay races
- Most recently, the Bulldogs won the inaugural South Atlantic Conference meet in Charlotte

- Snitko is the No. 5 seed in the 200 Freestyle (1:35.69) and the No. 8 seed in the 100 Freestyle (43.51)
- Ohnov is the No. 4 seed in the 100 Freestyle (43.31)
- Sophomore Fedor Sokolov is the No. 5 seed in the 100 Breaststroke (53.26)
- Most recently, Wingate won the first-ever South Atlantic Conference meet in Charlotte
