Box Score Newberry, S.C.----The 26th-ranekd Wingate University Bulldogs went on the road and picked up a big league victory, taking down #12 Newberry 4-3 in South Atlantic Conference women's tennis action Tuesday afternoon. The Bulldogs improve to 10-2 overall and 6-0 in the SAC, while the Wolves fall to 11-2 overall and 6-1 in league play.

- Elena Gunfaus teamed with Alex Lopez for a 6-4 win at two doubles
- Gaya Solomon and Saga Berggren prevailed 7-5 at three doubles
- Wingate took a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- Suzuka Sambyakugari rallied for a 3-6, 6-0, 7-5 win at three singles
- Lopez notched a victory at five singles
- Fernanda Castillo notched a 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 win at six singles
