Box Score Sumter, S.C.----The top-seeded and sixth-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs are on to the SAC title match after prevailing 4-1 against Carson-Newman University in the semifinals of the 2024 South Atlantic Conference Women's Tennis Tournament at the Palmetto Tennis Center. The Bulldogs push their winning streak to 14, improving to 19-1 overall and advancing to Saturday's SAC title match at 1 p.m. The Eagles fall to 11-8 on the season.

DOUBLES

- Carson-Newman picked up a 6-4 win at one doubles and 6-1 victory at three doubles
- Chloe Kosmrlj and Daniela Kotara led 5-4 at two doubles when the point was clinched
- The Eagles took a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- Eva Siska rolled to a 6-1, 6-0 victory at one singles
- Fernanda Castillo prevailed 7-5, 6-1 at four singles
- Claudia Vallejos rallied for a 2-6, 6-3, 7-5 win at five singles
- Annika Hakovirta cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 victory at six singles
- Kosmrlj led 4-1 in the third set at two singles of a 1-1 match when the 'Dogs clinched the victory
