Indianapolis, Ind.----The Wingate University women's and men's 400 Medley Relay squads continued their recent trend with first team All-American swims at the NCAA Division II swimming and diving national championships Thursday evening. Wingate is competing inside the IU Natatorium on the campus of IU Indianapolis, as part of the fabulous
Division II championships festival.

Lucie Andrews
- Wingate posted a time of 3:39.80 to finish fifth
- Class breakdown: Beesmans Barquero and Andrews are senior team captains
- Dwojak is a junior, while Zapata Ceballos is a sophomore swimming in her first NCAAs

- Wingate recorded a new school standard with its time of 3:10.90
- The 'Dogs edged St. Cloud State (Minn.) by 0.21 seconds for eighth place and the last podium position
- Class breakdown: Chagas Filho and Martijena are juniors, while Topchanalis and Witzell are sophomores

Yassine Sebbata earned honorable mention AA laurels Thursday
- Zapata Ceballos finished 12th in the women's 100 Fly (54.95)
- Yassine Sebbata was 11th in the men's 200 Free (1:36.24)
- Both Zapata Ceballos and Sebbata are first-time NCAA participants
