Lakeland, Fla.----The No. 1 Wingate University women's golf team is second after 36 holes of the Lady Moc Classic Monday. Florida Southern College is hosting this event at the
Grasslands Golf and Country Club. The Bulldogs shot a 312 in the first round and a 297 in the second round for a two-round total of 609. No. 17 Barry University leads the event at 603.

NCAA Division II No. 1 golfer and Wingate sophomore
Amely Bochaton is the 36-hole leader at three-under-par 141. She is the only student-athlete in the red at three-under-par. Bochaton had a 73 in the first round and a 68 in the second round, giving her a five-stroke lead on her nearest competitor.
