Amely Bochaton (Evian Les Bains, France) is the first South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Women's Golfer of the Week for the '26 NCAA championship season. Bochaton receives this honor for the fourth time this season and the seventh time in her WU career.
Bochaton won her ninth career individual title with a seven-under-par 209 in the Battle at Hilton Head Monday and Tuesday. She outdistanced Lander's
Kajsa Lindqvist by a whopping 11 shots. She had a six-under-par 66 in the second round and a three-under-par 69 in the third session.
The '25 All-American led the 'Dogs with 11 birdies, including six in her error-free second round. Wingate finished the 54-hole competition at 882, 20 shots better than No. 16 Lander in second place. Nineteen teams and 100 student-athletes participated in this year's Battle at Hilton Head event.

Next on the horizon for No. 1 Wingate women's golf
Wingate will play in the Lady Moc Classic on Monday and Tuesday in Lakeland, Florida. No. 10 Florida Southern College hosts this event at the
Grasslands Golf and Country Club.
Wingate hosts the Jerry Surratt Memorial Intercollegiate March 9-10 at Stonebridge Golf Club in Monroe. Last year, Wingate and Bochaton swept the team and individual titles. The Bulldogs won their home tourney for the fourth time in four tries by one stroke over SAC rival Anderson.
