Kingsport, Tenn.----The nationally-ranked Wingate University men's and women's swimming teams are participating in the South Atlantic Conference championship meet at the Kingsport Aquatic Center this week. Preliminaries begin each morning at 10 a.m. Finals will start at 5 p.m.

Wingate will have four student-athletes swimming in Friday evening's championship final, led by team captain
Nina Azirovic. She posted a Friday AM time of 5:06.36.

Fernando Dehaudt. He swam the fastest time in the morning preliminaries with his 4:26.47 posting.

Three Bulldogs will swim in Friday evening's championship final, led by
Vera Karlsson and
Elizabete Paula Ozola. The dynamic duo had the top two Friday AM qualifying times (55.83 and 56.76).
