Saint Augustine, Fla.----The No. 6 Wingate University men's golf team is tied for sixth place in the Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate (SKI) Monday. Lincoln Memorial hosts this event at the
St. Johns Golf & Country Club in St. Augustine, Florida.
Monday's first two rounds
Wingate shot a 301 in the first round and a 302 in the second round for a 36-hole total of 603. No. 8 St. Mary's (Texas) leads the event with a two-under-par 574. The Rattlers are the only one of the 18 participating teams who finished two rounds under par.
Bulldog freshman
Mattia D'Errico is tied for second place at two-under-par 142. Playing as an individual, D'Errico was the model of consistency with identical rounds of one-under-par 71. St. Mary's
Baptiste Touchard leads the event with his four-under-par 140.
Wingate senior
Alfie Storer is tied for 12th place at two-over-par 146. The No. 19 golfer in NCAA Division II, Storer had a three-over-par 75 in the morning session and a one-under-par 71 in the afternoon round.

Wingate is No. 6 in the most recent NCAA Division II Scoreboard powered by Clippd power rankings for the 2025-26 season. Last semester, the Bulldogs' No. 5 status was the highest ranking in the school's NCAA history. Wingate advanced to the NCAA Division II semi-finals for the first time in 2025.
