Salisbury, N.C.----The top-seeded and ninth-ranked Catawba College Indians prevailed 4-2 over fifth-seeded and 18th-ranked Wingate University in the semifinals of the NCAA Division men's tennis Southeast Regionals. Catawba improves to 20-1 overall, while the Bulldogs end their season at 16-8.

DOUBLES

- Carlo Rosellini and Rodrigo de la Torre dropped a 6-4 match at one doubles
- Emil Remsted and Francesco Gatti fell 6-3 at three doubles
- Martino Colabello and Riku Ogasawara trailed 6-5 at two doubles win the point was clinched
- The Indians took a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- Catawba got wins at three and four singles to take a 3-0 lead in the match
- De la Torre prevailed 6-4, 6-4 at two singles
- Colabello won 6-4, 6-2 at five singles to make it 3-2
- Jashan Joachim won set one 6-1 at six singles, but fell 2-6, 2-6 in the final two frames as Catawba clinched the win
- Rosellini won set two 6-3 at one singles to force a third set, trailing 3-1 in the third when the match was clinched
