Wingate University junior defender Kelly Moldenhauer (Mint Hill, N.C.) anchored a Wingate defense that dominated last week, notching a pair of shutouts while allowing only 11 shots in two contests.

The 2010 All-Region selection led the Bulldogs to a 4-0 win over Newberry, allowing the Wolves to take just 10 shots. The ‘Dogs followed with a 3-0 win over Brevard, in which the Wingate defense allowed only one shot to be taken all afternoon. The Bulldogs have notched three straight shutouts, while blanking their opponents in four of the last five contests during their seven-game winning streak.
