Wingate sophomore guard Janitsha Williams averaged 12.0 points per game and 6.0 rebounds per game as the balanced Bulldogs earned their 11th South Atlantic Conference regular season title with two crucial victories last week.
 
Williams had 14 points and eight rebounds (both team-bests) as the host Bulldogs outlasted the Brevard Tornados 58-50 Saturday. She collected 10 points and four boards in a 74-61 road victory at Anderson (S.C.) Wednesday. On the season, Williams is averaging 10.6 points per game (second on the team charts). The 2011 All-SAC Freshman team selection leads Wingate with her 27 three-point field goals this season.
