Second team All-SAC selection Aksel Juul (Newcastle, England) scored a pair of goals Sunday afternoon to lead the #20 Bulldogs to a 3-0 victory against LMU on the final day of the regular season. The win gave Wingate its first regular season SAC title since 2010. 

After a scoreless first half, Juul lined one into the right corner five minutes after intermission to put the Bulldogs on the board. He struck again just three minutes later to give Wingate a two-goal lead. The Bulldogs finished the regular season 8-2-1 in conference play to win the outright league title.

The top-seed 'Dogs won 3-1 in the SAC Tournament quarterfinals against Coker. The number three team in this week's NCAA Southeast Region poll, Wingate is 12-3-1 overall. 

Juul earned all-conference honors for the first time in his career on Wednesday. The sophomore has four goals and an assist this season. Wingate will face Lenoir-Rhyne in Friday's SAC Tournament semifinals in Rock Hill, S.C.
