Wingate University sophomore midfield Brittany “Brittie” Andrews (Bel Air, Md.) is the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference women’s lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Saturday, February 28.
 
Andrews had team-best totals of seven goals and eight points as Wingate improved to 3-2 overall following victories over Erskine (20-9) and Brevard (18-7). She had five goals against Erskine and two goals and one helper versus the BC Tornados as the Bulldogs won their SAC opener.
 
For the week, Andrews added four ground balls and two caused turnovers to her statistical ledger. Wingate returns to SAC play Saturday, hosting the Tusculum Pioneers. The first draw control is slated for 3 p.m.
