Box Score Wingate, N.C.----The 35th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs notched another league victory Thursday afternoon, prevailing 5-2 against Catawba College in South Atlantic Conference women's tennis action. The Bulldogs improve to 9-2 overall and 5-0 in the SAC, while the Indians fall to 8-2 overall and 4-1 in league play.

DOUBLES

- Chloe Kosmrlj teamed with Suzuka Sambyakugari for a 6-4 win at one doubles
- Alex Lopez and Elena Gunfaus won 7-5 at two doubles
- Wingate took a 1-0 lead into singles play

SINGLES

- Kosmrlj won 6-3, 6-4 at one singles
- Gaya Solomon rolled to a 6-1, 6-2 victory at two singles
- Sambyakugari rallied for a 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 win at four singles
- Flaminina Guidantoni prevailed 3-6, 7-6, 10-8 at five singles
