Sumter, S.C.----The second-seeded and 13th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs punched their ticket to the SAC title match Friday afternoon, prevailing 4-3 over third-seeded and 15th-ranked Newberry College in the semifinals of the South Atlantic Conference women's tennis tournament. Wingate improves to 18-3 overall, advancing to Saturday's SAC title match, while the Wolves fall to 16-4 on the season.

- Newberry picked up a 7-5 victory at one doubles to make it 1-1

- The final set decided the match, and went to a tiebreaker tied 6-6
- Kosmrlj took down the SAC Player of the Year 7-2 in the tiebreaker to send WU to the title match
