What They Are Saying about Wingate's Jack Wisniewski

Wingate head coach Kevin Hennessy

"There are not many people you could find who exemplify all the characteristics you would want in student-athlete, yet Jack Wisniewski does. Leadership, responsibility, team first and the list goes on. Jack has been constant role model for his team. Not only is Jack a 4.00 student and this year's SAC Elite 23 award winner for men's swimming, he is also a conference finalist and part of two conference championship teams. Jack was able to accomplish all this while completing his degree in only three years."

Wingate sport law professor Dr. Tom Appenzeller

"Jack Wisniewski is one of the most outstanding students I have had the privilege to teach over the last 30 years. Jack always came to class on time, was prepared and actively engaged in class discussions and activities. Jack was in my Governance of Sport and Sport Law classes and in each class, he achieved the highest grade in the course. This young man exhibited the traits of a true student athlete, and he was dedicated to excellence in the classroom and the pool. Jack Wisniewski is a leader and he has and will continue to make Wingate University and the South Athletic Conference proud."

Previous Wingate sport sciences dean Dr. Travis Teague

"Jack Wisniewski was a model student in my Sport Sales and Sponsorship class. His academic preparation and work towards all assignments and projects was excellent. What stands out to me is that Jack asked good questions, was engaged in the learning process and always considered the opinions of others by responding in a thoughtful manner. Jack is interested in all learning opportunities which indicates, to me, that he is committed to being an outstanding sport management professional, which I have confidence he will be. Not only is Jack an outstanding student, but it is evident from his interactions with peers, faculty and staff, that he's also a leader."
