Amely Bochaton (Evian Les Bains, France) is the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Women's Golfer of the Week for the reporting period ending September 30. Bochaton receives this distinction for the second time this season and for the fifth time in her WU career.
Bochaton finishes second in Eckerd Invite as 'Dogs win title
Bochaton finished second in the Eckerd Invitational, compiling a 54-hole score of six-under-par 210. Her Eckerd Invite ledger included rounds of 70, 72 and 68. Flagler senior
Henriette Stranda earned medalist honors, completing 54 holes at seven-under-par 209 to edge Wingate's Bochaton by one shot.
No. 2 Wingate wins second tourney in as many tries
Wingate won its second tournament in as many tries September 23, taking the Eckerd Invite team title by 11 strokes. The Bulldogs had a two-over-par 290 in the third round to card an 877. Second-place Flagler finished at 888. Interestingly enough, the Bulldogs shot an identical 877 to win the NCAA Division II South Regional Preview by 15 strokes the previous week.

Olivia Meinecke tied for fourth place at three-over-par 219. Senior
Thalia Perez-Vieco tied for 12th place at 225, while sophomore
Haley Paramore was all alone in 14th place at 226.
Next on the horizon for No. 2 Wingate women's golf
Wingate will compete in the St. Simons Intercollegiate Monday and Tuesday, October 6-7. South Atlantic Conference foe Lincoln Memorial hosts this event at
The King and The Prince Beach & Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Georgia. The Bulldogs play five events during the fall semester and an identical five tournaments in the spring.
The regular season highlight is the Jerry Surratt Memorial Intercollegiate Monday and Tuesday, March 9-10, 2026. Wingate hosts this annual event at Stonebridge Golf Club in Monroe. The Bulldogs start the '26 postseason on Sunday, April 12, joining 11 league rivals for the three-day, 54-hole South Atlantic Conference tournament in Greenville, South Carolina.
