Annika Luce and the men's 200 Freestyle Relay quartet headlined a big night for the Bulldogs at the NCAA Division II swimming and diving national championships inside the
Deaconess Aquatic Center Friday. Dwojak finished second in the women's 100 Breaststroke, while Dehaudt, Luce and the WU relay crew claimed first team All-American trophies as well.
In the 100 Breaststroke, Dwojak and Drury junior
Gwen Bergum battled down the stretch with Bergum touching first at 1:00.91. Dwojak finished second with her time of 1:01.14, adding another first team All-American award to her trophy case. Luce collected her first individual AA trophy in the same race, finishing eighth (1:02.30).
In the men's 500 Freestyle, Dehaudt finished sixth with his time of 4:21.67. Six has been a lucky number for the Belgian (so far), as he finished sixth in the 1000 Freestyle Wednesday. Dehaudt is scheduled to compete in the 1650 Freestyle Saturday.
In the men's 200 Freestyle Relay, Wingate edged McKendree by 0.15 to claim eighth place and the last spot on the first team All-American podium with its school-record time of 1:18.84. Sophomore
Vladimir Krstulovic swam the anchor leg in a sizzling 19.52 to eliminate any doubt. In the process, the Hungarian earns his inaugural first team AA award.
Krstulovic was joined in order by sophomore
Yassine Sebbata, junior
Anton Witzell and junior team captain
Mike Topchanalis. Sebbata opened with a 19.74, followed by Witzell's 19.66. Topchanalis added a 19.92 to set the stage for Krstulovic's heroics.

Women's 100 Backstroke

Vera Karlsson finished 15th in the consolation finals with her time of 55.71, claiming honorable mention AA laurels.
Men's 100 Backstroke
Senior team captain
Ney Chagas Filho finished 16th in the consolation finals with his time of 48.47, earning honorable mention All-American.
Men's 100 Breaststroke
Freshman
Nicolo Cariboni lost the consolation final by 0.01 seconds, finishing 10th with his time of 53.77. Colorado Mesa senior
Aron Jonsson finished ninth at 53.76, winning the consolation final by the narrowest of margins.
Women's 200 Freestyle Relay
The Bulldogs finished 11th with their time of 1:34.18, claiming honorable mention AA distinction. Dwojak swam the first leg, followed by freshman
Mathilda Sandberg. Luce swam the third leg, while senior team captain
Nina Azirovic had anchor leg duties. Seven teams entered the race without a seed time; Wingate had the top time among those seven squads.
Team scores
The Wingate men are seventh with 135 points. Drury and Tampa are battling neck-and-neck for the top spot. The DU Panthers lead the UT Spartans 384-381.5. Twenty-eight men's teams have scored points.
The Bulldog women are 10th with 145 points. Nova Southeastern leads the way with 374 points. Tampa is a distant second with 308.5 points. Thrity-three women's squads have scored at least one point.
