Kelli Ferguson was named the MVP of the 2011 Food Lion SAC Women's Tennis Tournament, leading the Bulldogs to the tournament title and a spot in the NCAA Regionals.

Ferguson went 2-0 in the championship contest, which Wingate won 5-0 over Mars Hill. She also notched a win in number five singles as the Bulldogs defeated Anderson 5-3 in the tournament semifinals.
