Freshman outside hitter Susie Murach had a big weekend as the Bulldogs claimed their sixth consecutive regular season SAC title. Wingate won 3-1 at Tusculum and 3-0 at Mars Hill, extending their SAC winning streak to 46 matches. 

Murach racked up 18 kills and 15 digs as Wingate snapped Tusculum’s 17-match homecourt winning streak Friday night. She added eight kills and eight digs in the sweep at Mars Hill. Murach also had three aces and two solo blocks on the week. She averaged 3.71 kills and 3.29 digs per set in the two matches.
