Alex Divelbiss swam the 800 Freestyle Relay anchor leg as Wingate won a national title with a time of 7:16.37 in the 2017 NCAA Division II swimming and diving championship meet March 10. For the meet, Divelbiss won one gold medal, four silver medals and one bronze medal. She earned All-American in seven of seven events she swam. Divelbiss was second in the 200 and 400 Individual Medleys, the 100 Freestyle and the 400 Freestyle Relay. She was third in the 400 Medley Relay and sixth in the 200 Freestyle.
