Davidson, N.C.----Davidson College defeated Wingate University 7-0 Saturday morning at the Knobloch Tennis Center on the Davidson campus. The NCAA Division I Davidson Wildcats are 3-0 overall, while the Wingate Bulldogs are 1-2 overall.

Wingate hits the road Tuesday, visiting NCAA Division II Southeast Region foe Augusta State (Ga.) University. The men’s and women’s tennis twin bill begins at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Davidson hosts Gardner-Webb University Saturday, Feb. 13 at 1 p.m.
