Wingate adds home doubleheader against Lees-McRae for Thursday afternoon

Wingate, N.C.----Wingate University head softball coach Jamie Stanclift has announced the addition of a home doubleheader for tomorrow afternoon. The Bulldogs will host Lees-McRae Thursday, Feb. 25 for a pair of contests, with game one starting at 1 p.m. Wingate will provide live video for both contests (Game One Video | Game Two Video), as well as live stats.

The Bulldogs return home after a challenging six-game road trip, with every game coming against top-20 opponents, including four games against top-five teams. The 'Dogs won the opener against #16 Southern Indiana, then dropped back-to-back one-run contests against Southern Indiana and #5 Young Harris.

This home doubleheader will be followed by two more road trips, with Wingate slated to open SAC play this Saturday at Tusculum, followed by a trip to UVA Wise Wednesday. The 'Dogs are home again Saturday, March 6 to host a doubleheader against Newberry.
