Anderson, S.C.----The No. 16 Wingate University women's golf team remains second after two rounds of the 2023 South Atlantic Conference tournament at the
Cobbs Glen Country Club Monday. The Bulldogs posted a 301 Monday for a 36-hole total of 601. No. 5 and tournament host Anderson added an even-par 288 to its SAC ledger for a 571 total and a 30-stroke lead.

Hailey McLaughlin is tied for fifth place at 147. She shot a team-best 73 Monday after her 74 Sunday. Freshman
Thalia Perez Vieco is one shot back at 148 following back-to-back rounds of 74. Anderson freshman
Kennedy Gooding is the 36-hole leader at three-under-par 141. She shot a 75 Monday after a tournament-best 66 Sunday. The AU Trojans occupy the top four spots on the individual leader board.
