McCormick, S.C.----The No. 16 Wingate University women's golf team is second after two rounds of the Savannah Lakes Invitational at the Savannah Lakes Village, Monticello Course on Monday. The Bulldogs improved their team score by one stroke, shooting a 293 Monday for a 36-hole total of 587. Wingate swapped places on the leader board with No. 23 West Florida. The UWF Argos had a 287 Monday for a 36-hole total of 583, four strokes better than the 'Dogs.

Lisa Vinger is tied for sixth place with her one-over-par 145. She had a 74 Monday to go with her career-low 71 Sunday. Graduate student
Hailey McLaughlin shaved 11 strokes from her first-round score, posting a team-best 72 Monday. West Florida senior
Kate Kenthack is the 36-hole leader at four-under-par 140. She has a two-stroke advantage on the field, thanks to her five-under-par 67 Monday.
