Clinton, S.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs stayed perfect on the season Sunday night, picking up a tight 249.685-244.865 victory at NCAA Division I foe Presbyterian. The Bulldogs move to 4-0 on the season, while the Blue Hose fall to 0-4 overall.

Wingate kicked things off by posting a 9.70 in the Pyramid heat and 9.45 in the Toss heat to collect an early two-point lead in the Compulsory section. The Bulldogs capped the Acro section with a 9.25 in the 7-element heat.

The 'Dogs had a huge Pyramid section, notching a 9.40 in the Inversion heat, a 9.80 in the Synchronized heat and a perfect 10.0 in the Open heat. The Toss section was highlighted by a 9.00 in the Open heat and a 9.20 in the 450 Salto.

Wingate built a five-point lead in the Tumbling portion, which saw the Bulldogs start things with a 9.20 in the Duo pass. The 'Dogs posted a 9.025 in the Aerial Pass, which was followed by a big 9.550 in the 6-Element pass. The Bulldogs wrapped up the section with a 9.30 in the Open Pass. Wingate wrapped things up with an 80.71 in the Team Event to wrap up the five-point victory.

The Bulldogs are back in action Friday, March 13, hosting King at 6 p.m.
